What do colors sound like?
Are they high like a soprano?
Or low like an alto?
Does velvet have a scent?
Is it a lily or a rose?
As sweet as when the summer wind blows?
What would all the sweet tastes feel like?
Are they soft and nice to touch?
Or… Not so much?
Does music have a taste?
I hope it tastes like cake
Or something else a chef would bake.
Ever wondered what the sweetest smells look like?
Does a rose’s scent look like a flower?
Or something with a bit more power?
And why can’t we know these things?

First Flight
How frightening that first flight must have been,
hearts racing into the unknown,
and I should wonder how those men felt
at the first takeoff into the air,
gusts of wind beneath fragile wings,
if not for loving you.

Untold Stories- The Unsinkable Ship: Prologue
-6:43 AM, April 10th, 1912- Southampton, England
Nicholas Thatcher woke up extra early today. He gasped, waking up immediately. He sat up in his hotel bed, looking at the clock. Smiling, he got out of bed, careful not to wake Sofia (his sister) who was sleeping next to him. He went bare foot on the wooden floor, past the bed his mom and Amber (his other sister, twin of Sofia) were sleeping in. The 11 year old kneeled in the wooden chair that was pushed up to the high window so he could look out.
Their hotel in Southampton overlooked the White Star Line's Pier. Nick could see it from their floor of the hotel, just barely. In that ocean dock

"Okay, now take a deep breath and calm down." Daphne said. She wrapped her arms around her crying best friend. When she calmed down a bit Daphne continued. "Now, tell me what happened."
"So I called him saying I wanted to go on a date, but not at the zoo, then he suggested going to the zoo and it escalated from there AND NOW I'M SINGLE." Lucy cried and mumbled some more words that Daphne couldn't hear.
"So, what happened?" Jacob asked as he sat down on his best friends couch.
"I don't know, I just made a joke." Daniël said.

I wrote this while I was supposed to be paying attention in AP Stats. But that class is easy so let's pretend I was paying attention. Anyway, I finished this after I ran out of senses to mix up, and I counted up exactly 103 words. When I got home and typed it up, I was right. So getting exact numbers of words is turning out to be fairly easy so far.
So far. XD Hope you enjoy! And contemplate why we can't hear colors or taste music.
